Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the primary natural compounds found in cannabis plants. It is important to understand the difference between CBD and the more well-known compound, THC. CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not get you “high”, and is only sourced from Department of Agriculture licensed hemp plants.

No. Our CBD Teas will not give you a “high”, but rather a sense of relaxation and wellness. You will not experience psychoactive effects.
Yes. Carry Kumba products only use legal, ethically sourced, lab-tested, U.S. grown industrial hemp. The Farm Bill Act of 2018 completely removed all ingredients and derivatives of industrial hemp from the DEA’s list of Schedule 1 drugs. Basically, this bill allows you to legally extract CBD from industrial hemp as long as it yields tests below 0.3% THC. Our products are “full-spectrum”, meaning they do contain a range of cannabinoids and natural plant terpenes, and all our products test below the 0.3% THC threshold. Check out our 3rd party tests page for more detail.
Carry Kumba uses lab-tested, U.S. grown, ethically sourced, industrial hemp for all our products. Our products contain full-spectrum CBD. “Full-spectrum” CBD includes a range of cannabinoids and plant terpenes, including the legal amount of THC (0.3% or less). By using full-spectrum CBD, our products utilize the “entourage effect” where the variety of cannabinoids work together to give you the best results possible.
Yes - All our products and ingredients are lab tested to ensure quality and compliance. Check out our 3rd party testing page for more detail.
No. Cannabinoids including CBD have no known toxic qualities for the body. In very rare cases some people are known to have allergic reactions to cannabinoids. If you feel you might be one of these people, we suggest contacting an allergist or speaking with your doctor before consuming any of our products.
In rare cases, some people who consume excessive amounts of full-spectrum CBD have shown positive results for THC on drug tests. While it is uncommon, we do want our customers to be aware of this possibility. We do not recommend use if you are subject to drug tests.
